Welcome to ProtectSmart, the provider of Full Purchase Value Protection for desktops, laptops, tablets, consoles, and more. By using our website, mobile app, and services, you agree to the following terms:

1 Service Overview

ProtectSmart offers subscription-based tech protection plans that reimburse you the full purchase value of your device in the event of qualified mechanical or accidental damage.

2 Eligibility & Activation

  • You must register your device within 72 hours of original purchase.
  • Proof of purchase and serial number are required for protection eligibility.
  • Coverage is valid for the term selected (e.g., 3 or 4 years).

3 What is Covered

Refer to our Rules & Regulations for complete details. Generally, we cover:

  • Accidental damage (e.g., drops, spills)
  • Hardware failure not caused by misuse
  • Power surge-related malfunctions

4 What is Not Covered

ProtectSmart does not cover:

  • Theft, lost or stolen devices
  • Intentional or negligent damage
  • Cosmetic damage (scratches, dents)
  • Software, battery wear, or virus-related issues

5 User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, up-to-date registration and claim information
  • Use the platform for legal, authorized purposes
  • Refrain from submitting fraudulent claims (will result in denial, account ban, and potential legal action)

6 Reimbursement

If your claim is approved:

  • You will receive full purchase value via ACH, Visa Card, or Cash App
  • Claims are subject to identity and documentation verification
  • Claims typically processed within 1–3 business days after evaluation

7 Cancellation & Refunds

  • You may cancel your plan within 14 days of purchase for a full refund if no claim has been filed.
  • No refunds will be granted after 14 days or after any claim approval.

8 Business & Bulk Accounts

Business accounts may receive additional terms including:

  • Volume pricing
  • Invoice billing
  • API integrations
  • Assigned account managers

9 Limitation of Liability

ProtectSmart is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid by the customer for the plan.

10 Dispute Resolution

11 Modifications
